[V likes cats, of course. Vergil, maybe somewhere deep, deep down, probably likes cats, too. Shadow might have been wrought from old and terrible nightmares that accosted the man for so many years, taking the shape of a demon, but it's still a cat. A large cat. V has taken a fondness to it, and it's hard not to transfer that same fondness to a retinue of housecats. Ten of them, who mewl and meow and chirp and yowl at the presence of two strangers in their house, here to take care of them.
He has so many rubbing up against his leg at once, leaving tufts of fur stuck to his black clothes. A few sit on the couch, or from their perches in a cat tree, staring warily. No doubt his companion--humanity's companion, as he understands it--is going through the same experience.]

Very well. I do wonder if this household requires more liter boxes, though, given the amount of cats here.
